Caitlin Green is a theatre artist/performer, teacher, and yoga instructor. Caitlin has trained in performing arts at Emerson College. She received a degree in theatre education and has worked with elementary, middle, and high school students in the Greater Boston area. She continues to work with kids with a variety of ages in after school programs. Caitlin was trained to teach yoga at Prana Power Yoga and continues to teach there and in other studios in the Boston area. She believes that embodied creativity and mind-body yoga connection are a perfect combination. She received a Master's of Education from Lesley University with the focus of Theatre as a Tool for Social Change. Caitlin is a performer in True Story Theater (www.truestorytheater.org), Boston Area's Playback Theater Company which uses Playback Theater, improvisational theater as a powerful tool for social healing. Caitlin believes in a holistic approach to the craft of acting and self-expression. In 2010, Caitlin co-wrote with her partner Jason Jedrusiak and performed a one woman show entitled Seed of GenY, which has traveled to theater conferences in the U.S. and has been performed in a Progressive High School in Massachussets.
Caitlin founded the SeekExploreCreate project in May of 2010 with the goal to create a collection of performance pieces inspired by her travel experiences. The project is a mesh of both her passions--the 2 t's--Theatre and Travel.
